Academy of Golf
 The
Puterbaugh-Green Academy of Golf is headed by lead instructor Jonathan Green. He
and his staff have combined to form a golf instructional program that gives students
of all playing abilities a great opportunity to learn about the golf swing and the
many other facets of playing golf. Each staff instructor is passionate about the
golf swing and helping students improve their games. We use the latest in video
technology and our instructors are committed to the continuous study of the golf
swing. The foundations of our teaching philosophy are derived from a systematic
study of the world’s greatest players and the swing traits they all share. We call
these traits the “core fundamentals,” and they are essentials in the swing of any
player who strives to play good golf. Students of our method include major championship
winners Scott Simpson and Larry Mize, as well as long time PGA tour players Dennis
Paulson and Chris Riley.
Our Facility
 The Puterbaugh-Green Academy of Golf is located at Aspen Lakes Golf Course in Sisters,
Oregon. We are in a select group of academies who can provide students with a “take-home”
DVD containing a real-time video and audio recording of all video analysis given.
This system enables our students to play back an entire session in order to review
everything covered in a given lesson. Students receive instruction in our private
section of the driving range, a private 10,000 square foot putting green, and a
short game area for the exclusive use of students. Students of our 3-day schools
also receive on-course instruction on the award winning Aspen Lakes Golf Course,
which was recently given a 4 ½ star rating by Golf Digest for their “Best Places

What We Offer
 The Puterbaugh-Green Academy of Golf specializes
in one, two, and three day golf schools, private lessons, and college and high school
golf team programs. We can also customize outings for corporate events. Please see
our “School Packages” page for details of each program.
If you’re looking for a place to stay while attending the Puterbaugh-Green Academy
